Let’s change the Renewable Energy Policy in Australia

Published on November 13, 2015

Here in Australia, hundreds of thousands of Australians will be marching for a transition to renewable energy, for secure job creation, for clean air, for a healthy environment and a safe climate. If you’re in Sydney, join us at The Domain at 1pm on Sunday 29 November, as we stand together for a better, safer, and fairer future for all. If you’re not based in Sydney, find your nearest march and make a difference.

On the last weekend in November, world leaders will be gathering in Paris on the eve of the United Nations Climate Summit. Meanwhile, across the globe, millions will gather in their cities to create the biggest climate march the world has ever seen. In Sydney on November 29th we will stand together for a new economy that works for people and the planet, to show the world that Australians want to do our bit, and for an end to polluting fossil fuels and a planned transition to 100% clean renewable energy.

WE WILL MARCH, WILL YOU JOIN US?

As solar energy ambassadors you are crucial players in the transition to Australia’s sustainable future. By coming together we can show our government that we have the technology, innovation, creativity and solutions for a better, safer, and fairer future for all.

We want to march together with you and other solution groups from Green Energy Providers, Transport, Sustainable Agriculture & lifestyles, Manufacturing & Goods, EcoTourism, Finance, Education, Sustainability Groups, NGO’s, Non-profits and the Artistic community and form a united front.

WEAR YELLOW – LET’S BE UNITED

The colour of the solutions section is YELLOW. So as a member of the solar industry, we are a solution for the future. Wear yellow with pride, you deserve to. Bring your yellow umbrellas, decorate your bikes and helmets and make some signs! Let’s come together as a united front for our climate’s future and show that the momentum for clean energy is unstoppable.

Let’s make this moment as big and powerful as it needs to be.

Spread the word.
Keep the 29 November 2015 free and let’s march together!

Be part of history!
