Fiesta Del Sol: Terms and Conditions for the Draw

Sol Distribution will run two draws during the Fiesta del Sol event (6:00pm-10:30pm AEDT) on Tuesday 22 October 2024. This promotion is run by Sustainable Business Energy Solutions t/a Sol Distribution (we, us, our).

Attendees of Fiesta del Sol Event on Tuesday 22 October 2024 will be given a ticket at the entrance to enter the draw. Participants must be at the event venue (Pan Pacific Hotel Melbourne) at the time of the draw to be eligible to win.

It’s your responsibility, to ensure we receive your entry. We aren’t responsible for any lost, late or misdirected entries or entries not received by us for any reason.

The draw will take place during the Fiesta del Sol event at Pan Pacific Hotel Melbourne on Tuesday 22 October 2024, sometime between 6:30pm and 10:00pm (AEDT). Start time of the draw may vary and it is at our discretion.

The first four tickets drawn will participate in our “pin-the-tail” game. The participant who is the closest to pin the item to where it belongs, wins $300AUD Sol Distribution credit.

A second draw will take place to determine the winner of the Lucky Door Prize. The first ticket drawn at this second draw will win the prize (a Jeri Portable Battery). If a ticket is drawn and the person with the respective ticket is not in the event premises at the time of the draw, this person automatically forfeits the prize, and another ticket will be drawn until there is a legitime winner in the room.

Any entrant who, in our opinion, tampers or interferes with the entry mechanism in any way, or who doesn’t properly comply with the entry process, will be ineligible to win. We reserve the right to disqualify entries in the event of non-compliance with these terms and conditions. 

​By entering this draw, you agree to participate in our marketing activities including being interviewed and photographed, and that we may use your name, voice, photo and comments for marketing purposes for an unlimited time and in any media without reference or compensation to you. 

The winners will be announced on the spot and publicised on our social media accounts.

We reserve the right to: (a) ask you to provide proof of identity and/or proof of eligibility to claim a prize, (b) determine how the draw is run, including the selection of a winner, and (c) disqualify any entrant who we believe has breached these terms and conditions or engaged in unlawful or other improper conduct or any conduct intended to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. 

The winner of the pin-the-tail competition will win a $300AUD Sol Distribution credit. This credit can be used in the next order of any our sponsoring partners of the Fiesta del Sol (Trina Solar, BYD Battery-Box, SMA and/or Clenergy).

The second lucky draw winner will receive a Clenergy jeri V4 Portable Power Station – 403Wh (value of $540 AUD). Item will be shipped to customer once contact details are provided. Only one jeri is available for the winner.

The winner of the Sol Distribution credit is responsible for letting us know when they’d like to use this credit when putting an order through, either via email or via phone. The credit has an expiration date of October 2025 and the winner of this credit accepts the terms and conditions when accepting this gift.

The winner of the Clenergy jeri portable battery is responsible for providing us the correct contact & shipping details to send the prize. We are not responsible for a prize that may be lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with after it has left our warehouse and sent to the winner.
