BOOTH ACTIVITY
We have a series of TurboTalks at our booth throughout the two-days. These TurboTalks are led by our suppliers who will discuss current and future products and solutions. Come to our booth and hand in your business card for a chance to win a brand new Apple Watch Series 3.
Due to the popularity last year, we will also be featuring our Tech Desk, where one of our PV technical engineers will be on hand to answer any system design questions you have.
PRODUCTS ON SHOW
SMA
SMA will be featuring their brand new Sunny Boy Storage 5.0, highest capacity battery inverter to be released by SMA. With AC coupling, the Sunny Boy Storage is ideally suited to new and retrofitted systems, for all households with an annual electricity consumption of 3,000 to 12,000 kWh and for PV systems from 3 to 12 kWp.
Also on the stand is the popular Sunny Boy 5.0 with its service feature dubbed “Smart Connected” which enables a more efficient servicing model for the Sunny Boys inverters. This feature is a software package within the Sunny Portal that will notify both the system owner and installer of any inverter failures. This new range also has in-built wifi for better monitoring.
BYD
BYD will showcase the latest scalable B-Box HV battery system that can be scaled to suit the size of the PV system and the customer’s demand. The B-Box HV has better efficiency with natural cooling, which also enables the battery to operate without any additional fan noise. It can be easily installed on new solar PV systems and retrofitted to existing solar PV systems.
TRINA SOLAR
The 260-280W 60 cell Trina Honey Multicrystalline solar panel with advanced cell texturing techniques is one of the most versatile solar panel in the market to date. With high performance under low light conditions, the module is compatible with all major BOS components and system designs. It is certified to withstand the most challenging environmental conditions and it is manufactured according to International Quality and Environmental Management System Standards ISO9001, ISO14001.
SOLAREDGE
SolarEdge’s HD-Wave inverter technology is a novel power conversion topology that significantly decreases inverter size and weight, while also achieving record 99% weighted efficiency. By employing distributed switching and advanced digital processing to synthesise a clean, high-definition sine wave, HD-Wave technology inverters have <1/2 the heat dissipation, 16x less magnetics, and 2.5x less cooling components than current SolarEdge inverters, which are already among the smallest on the market.
Q CELLS
Featuring German engineered Q.PEAK-G4.1 monocrystalline solar panel with power classes of up to 305Wp and efficiencies as high as 18.6%. The Q.Antum cell technology is an advancement on the PERC technology that is used by most tier 1 panels today. It allows a poly solar panel to have power output close to a mono solar panel which reduces the power loss from higher operating temperatures.
TALESUN
Talesun’s new HIMAX TP660P will be making its first appearance in Australia. The panel provides higher power output due to the usage of the passivated emitter and rear cell (PERC) technology and a unique cell design with 4 bus-bar for higher efficiency and module stability. DELTA
Delta’s new Hybrid E5 battery storage system has been designed to integrate seamlessly with the battery and features dual MPPT, standalone function and a high charging efficiency of up to 97%. Coupled with Delta’s Battery 6.0 with a unique voltage range around the 100v mark which allows an easier connection to be established between the battery and the inverter. The individual cells of the Delta Battery 6.0 are manufactured by Panasonic, the pioneer of Li-ion battery technology.
